Update on Sweet Pea

We adopted out little Sweet Pea a couple weeks ago to a local vet and just got a wonderful email from her new owners.

I want to thank Karri and pupznpalz for a great little dog. Anne was in great health, well socialized for a pup. She is a real sweetheart. The adoption processes was easy and I think you guys do a great job and service. Thank again! Kipp

Would love to hear some updates of some of the pups/dogs that have been adopted over the last few months. Pictures of course are always welcome. We've been so busy with the dogs and our new Facebook page that we have completely forgotten about our blog!! Update on Foxy the 1-2 year old Chihuahua/Pom who our wonderful new friend Kelly had found in Modesto and owners never located...now has a great new home! She was with us for almost 2 months? While in our care, not only did she get her regular vet care (shots updated, spayed, etc) she was also very loved. She was almost 100% potty trained when sheleft us, crate trained, and just loved everyone. Foxy wasn't just a foster, but part of my personal family. She slept in our bed with us every night and expected nothing less either! lol Her newist, most favorite toy was the lazer light. Her new aodpters watched as I shined the lazer light all over the house and she bounced like a rabbit to get it. Good luck in your new home Foxy, we will miss you!

Spooky Goblins and creapy treats!!

Yes, we are in the month of October, meaning Halloween is just around the corner. Please be sure to prepare your household and your puppy for some of the hramful items that may be lurking around the house this month. When dressing up the house for Halloween please be sure to keep electrical cords, hard plastic items, and items containing fluids, out of reach of your new puppy, as these things can be harmful to them.

Chocolate is the biggest Halloween culprit out there!! Do NOT allow your new pup to consume any chocolate as it can be life threatening for him/her. Please be sure to keep all candy out of puppy's reach for his safety.

Please watch this video for further tips on how to keep your puppy safe this Halloween.

Please feel free to express you thoughts, experiences, ask questions, and/or concerns with us. just remember that by adopting one dog, helps to make room for one more, and with each dog that is spayed/neutered saves hundreds more from being born.
